All of our fiberglass resins and gel coats require a mixing ratio of 1.5%. Or more simply 15ml of hardener per 1000ml (1L) of Resin. Cure times are affected by hardener volume and application temperature. This info is also noted on the material packaging. Need more info? Call us, we're happy to help.
Our premium gelcoat covers quite well, often requiring a single coat depending on the color.

When comparing prices of our fiberglass, it's important to know the price per kilogram as our rolls are a large. Here are the weights and dimensions of our 38" and 50" Chopped Strand Mat and Woven Roving.
38" x 1.5oz CSM weighs 39kg & measures 96 linear yards (912sqft)
50" x 1.5oz CSM weighs 52kg & measures 96 linear yards (1200sqft)

Air Dry Wax is a styrene and wax solution that is added to Gelcoat in addition to hardener. When the gelcoat cures, the wax rises to the surface to make the finish tack free. Up to 5% Air Dry Wax can be added to the last coat of gelcoat. Need more info? Call us, we're happy to help.
Fiberglass rollers are designed to remove pockets of air after the glass has been saturated with resin. Rolling these tools over laminated fiberglass helps to compress the fibers and remove the air bubbles. We stock fiberglass rollers in a variety of styles and sizes. Need more info?
